Mrs. Felipa G. “Lila” Garza , 91, of Brownsville, Texas entered into eternal life on February 8, 2010 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

She was preceded in death by her husband; Federico G. Garza in 1992; (2)infant children; Rolando and Alicia Garza; her parents, Sotero and Guadalupe G. Garcia; a brother; Jose Garcia; (2)sisters, Celestina Benavidez and Simona Garza.

She is survived by her (3) daughters;Norma Linda (Samuel E.) Lucio, Viola (Jimmy Ray) Valles and Gloria (Bob) Phears; (4) sons, Federico (Ophelia) Garza Jr.), George ( Virginia)Garza, Ramiro (Amparo)Garza and Robert (Maggie) Garza ; (1) sister Carmen Mayorga; (4) brothers, Antonio Garcia, Robert Garcia, Jesus Garcia and Raul Garcia; (23) grandchildren; (38) greatgrandchildren; nephews,niecies, and other relatives.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 10, 2010, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. at Trevino Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday , February 11, 2010, at 10 a.m. at St. Luke Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Samuel E. Lucio, Jose Luis Lucio, Michael David Garza, Eric George Garza, Alejandro Ray Garza and Robert Lee Garza.
