Mrs . Bonnie Sue Shives (Woodard) Stanford , 67 , of Los Fresnos, Texas entered into eternal life on February 25, 2010 at Harlingen Medical Center.

She was born and raised in Edinburg , Texas before moving to Olmito Texas in 1969. The ideal responsible mom, she enjoyed fishing and spending quality time with her grandchildren. She was a hotel night auditor at Days Inn on South Padre Island prior to her retirement.

She was preceded in death by Jimmy Woodard 1st spouse and 2nd spouse James Stanford; brother, Anthony Ray Shives; Parents; Paul Leonard and Opal Bernice Shives.
She is survived by her (2) daughters; Rayellea Sue Lindsey and Bonnie A. Kuhns; (2) sons; James L. Woodard and John R. Woodard; (1) sister Nina Fern Macias; (1) brother; Sidney Lee Shives; (2) Grandchildren; Warren Robert Kuhns III and Andrew James Lindsey.

Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., a video tribute of her life will be presented at 6 p.m., with a Memorial Service to follow at 7 p.m. Saturday February 27, 2010 at Trevino Funeral Home.

The Celebration of her life will be celebrated at “The Osprey”, those interested must arrive by 4:30 p.m. on Sunday February 28, 2010 , in order to join her family. The “Osprey” is located on Pier 19 by the Sea Ranch on South Padre Island, Tx. Her cremains will be scattered in an evening celebration aboard ( “The Osprey).
